black friday...

Somehow i still managed to go out around 6am in the morning to start shopping... Black friday is the friday after thanksgiving where most of the stores open really early and they have a ridiculous low prices! first i headed to best buy just to get a 8Gig memory card... i got it for only 24 bucks! and then i went to a different mall.. finding myself strolling trough rebel, active, hollister a&F and aeropostle and endup just buying a pair of pants, actually that my goal this time to buy some pants since i lost too much weight and most of my pants are too big now. Off i go to the next destination, i was planning to go to urban outfitters in Victoria Gardens when i decided to go straight to the desert and head to Cabazon. Since I did that dragon boat thing i lost interest in going to clubs but recently i've been going out to much and i need some new clothes bu the thing is I'm not into buying clothes anymore so i just ended up buying a couple of shirts, a sweater, 2 jeans and a compression shirt. the thing that pisses me off the most was A/X damn that place is a mess, people are stepping on the clothes that's why i didn't bother to look for my size. damn i'm broke again...

friday night food madness!

Ok i started my night by meeting people at Phong Dinh Restaurant, this place serves exotic foods lik kangaroo, alligator, frog legs and whatever stuffs but we came here for the baked catfish!!! damn this is the best catfish i ever had... i'm just so used to fried ones and fish sauce and lime...but it was kinda pricey 50 bucks for the catfish only and our bill ended up to 300 bucks...then after that we head to half and half tea house..then we headed to pasadena for some TACOS! oh shit these people can eat... like last time i joined a korean bbq eating contest and the winner is a girl and her husband.... and she's not even over weight... damn!

on the other side.. am still enjoying my car my latest experiment was driving it in the freeway wiht out using the gas pedal.. i went all the way with cruise control and accelerating everyting on the steering wheel... my old car doesn't have it so i'm trying to play around with it...

yehey!

finally i got my new car and just right after i got it.. i drove to the mountains and went for a hike which means its all dusta already and i put in a good 100 miles already! and i'm broke...now i have to stop having good dinners and lunch outs

weekend

went to oktoberfest in huntington beach ended up too drunk... forgot how i got home, can't even remember the freeways i took on my way home.. woke up early on sunday morning for practice... but i'm kinda dehydrated from alcohol consumption and the bad thing is I was stroking for the boat which ended up pretty messy...i almost lost my paddle cause i was throwing it in the wate while the boat is moving.... went to lunch which ended up to be too pricey... the played some badminton where I broke my racquet so i have to buy a new one... total cost from my weekend? it's kinda close to my trip to SF

SF race

Just got back from SF cause we participated in the Kaiser Permanente Dragon Boat Festival….the drive is pretty tough since we are carrying other equipments too… but the whole festival was fun on our first day it was just all seeding and qualifying for the division which turned out pretty interesting since we finished two first and a second for our men’s boat which qualifies us for the next day race and not only that we got the 2^nd best time of the day… Sunday didn’t turn out pretty well since we didn’t win the men’s boat, but we won third on the out of town race and we had a couple more races which landed us at the final race of the day… in other words it’s the top 6 boats in the whole tournament… we got 5^th place which means we still have to work on a lot of things but I didn’t know that it’s that big of a deal to be on that race until our coached talked about it and no wonder one of my team mate is so stoked about participating that race… apparently our team used to win a lot but in lower division and it was the first time they got to that level… after that race I still want to get at least third place but we have to wait for next year to achieve that goal which means more hardcore workouts which would start tomorrow at work…. Basically I spent my 2 days just at the race site then at night I stuffed myself with some good food but it costs hundreds and hundreds for my whole vacation…went up to Sonoma valley for a day just to do some wine tasting….i'm done... too tired from driving....

tired

as usual started my day with 3 donuts then went to practice.... did my time trial for 500M OC1 and finally i made it on the A boat! got 2:55 time and i got one of the best times! so it was worth it even tough i can barely move right now... so i skipped badminton...

new work

yesterday was my first day for my new job.... i'm so excited i ended up late! hahahaha... actually i don't know what to expect in that company all i think about is the pay and it's very near my place... 10 miles!!! the place is pretty laid back.. and there are only four people in the lab... 2 tech and 2 chemist including me....so it's pretty boring....compared to my old work... well i'll get used to it... and it's easier and less stress...another good this is that they got a small gym where they have tread mills...punch bag...and whatever stuffs... i think i'll stick with this job for a while or maybe i'll try to enjoy it... cause it's day shift too.. i feel normal again...

damn it!

friday was like graduation day for me... finally i don't have to work on that company anymore... sharing my work with such a bitch is just freaking stressful...

saturday was slack off day for me... all i did was ate chicken wings and sleep all day...

sunday paddled for almost 3 hours and our family had an early dinner or late lunch at a chinese restaurant which made me feel drowsy cause it packed with MSG.... on the way home my mom asked me to drop by costco to get some fruits then at the entrance i saw the canon rebel xsi kit for just 699.99... eventhough i dont have any plans to get a camera yet since i'm still waiting for my bills i ended up getting it.....after getting some fruits, meats and whatever stuffs I ended up with a bill of 900 bucks.... and they dont accept credit cards so there goes my paycheck....

finally the long beach viewsonic race is over and the good thing is we got medals in most of our divisions...we got bronze on women's, bronze on men's, bronze on master's, bronze on division 3 and a gold on division 1 though we didn't get anything for division 1 which is C boat(fun boat) which is for the newbies and recreational paddles we all had a great weekend... and i must say saturday was like heaven for us cause most of our boats finished first on all races....and it feels good to beat san diego on that heat in our men's division because it's the national team little did i know that they sneaked in some girls in the boat so on the finals they won and we got the third place and second was taken by dragon warriors which is the team that we are hosting for this event... and for out blue boat we got gold despite of some odd paddlers in the line up we still got the first with a big lead...we could celebrate for now... but we only got 10 more weeks before san francisco race... i got a lot of pounds to shed and more endurance training to do and so as for the team...

finally

finally i got an offer for a new job.. i don't know when will i submit my resignation letter... i'll just wait for some more detail about the new job then i'll quit my present job.... wohooo!

today sucks...

i finally cleaned my car...

after 4 months without car wash i decided to clean my car... since it's 4th of july all i did was clean the car grilled some bbq and oysters and then eat!!! and had some kirin light...and i'm happy i can't drink as much anymore...cause i've been trying to live healthy as a result my nose haven't bled for 2 months...and that's it...

what a trip!

this day is a trip! it's almost the same freaking day but one thing changed the whole experience...

i started my day thinking that i will be spending around 1G for auto service cause it's long overdue now and i dont want to stall on the freeway.... well at least it got reduced to around 700 by removing some services.... and the bonus part they let me use their car so that i wont have to spend extra for car rental... i wasn't so thrilled when i saw the car, it's the first toyota mr2 and it's a stick shift(i haven't driven a stick shift in ages and since i started using automatic)....just driving to work and going home i was playing with the car... even though you feel every pebble you run on to... it made the whole driving experience a whole lot of fun....the car was shaky, loud(since the engine is at your back), old, and filthy...this car made me feel like i'm driving my 75' lancer or my first time driving... even the car was that bad, it's still a bit powerful so i was double clutching on the freeway and flooring it... but at the back of my head i'm praying not to stall, not to loose any axle, drop the engine,crash or simple DO not DIE....good thing i'm still alive and i hope i can get my car tomorrow or else i will get a car rental...1 day is enough for this car..

friday

started my day by buying 2 pairs of new balance and it made me a bit happy... but the rest of my day was ruined when i came to work... it's not my work that sucks it's my co-workers....oh well... it's week end! wohooo!!! more activities and no stress! good thing i had a nice dinner....so it wasn't that bad...

last night i stayed at orange county college to support the american cancer society by joining the relay for life.... our team is pretty organized except me who doesn't have sleeping bag or tent...

last week's highlights

-in one week I drove more than 1000 miles so in less than a month i got to have and oil change again...

-played ultimate frisbee and got hit in the jaw(it was fucking hard)

-cancelled the hiking last sunday

-played badminton even though i cant move anymore...and i'm so dehydrated cause of the weather...

-felt like an asshole for forgetting that it was the last day of my coworker last friday...

-walked around newport beach for 2 hours before coming to work last friday...

-had a good dinner at "shin sen gumi" but it was a bit expensive... they have the best yakitori...

-went to palos verdes... (not the one in antipolo)

-quit smoking (again)

AND TODAY I'M JUST FUCKING PISSED OFF....

my f*cking GPS sent me way off to my destination last saturday... I ended up 3 hills away to my destination.. supposedly I should end up below the hollywood sign where we will play some ultimate frisbee... but i ended up in a housing area in 90210...... maybe that's what you get in a cheap ass 200 bucks worth of a gps!...

it just came to me... i was infront of the mirror looking at myself and suddenly i remembered the accident that happened more than a decade ago... the weird thing is i dont recall how old i was when it happened...all i know is that i was kicking it with my cousins fooling around then suddenly i fell and hit the bumper of my uncle's car...nice thing i hit my lower lip to the ripped plate number and it pierced me...all i can remember is that my aunt was carrying me towards our house or something and then they brought me to the nearest hospital which is a couple blocks away from our house... and i think the doctor got mad at me cause i kicked a bottle of betadine towards her dress or something... that's what my mom told me before... its hard to remember things that you tend to avoid talking about when you were a child... and its weird that i'm trying to dig in and recall everything... i want a detailed narration...but its very hard for me to think about it... cause i had too many accidents from bike accidents to fireworks... my head bled from a fire cracker...i fell into a drainage and puntured my knee that you could see the knee cap.... i got my ankle caught in the bicycle chain...got bitten by a dog in the butt.... bump myself hard towards a parked vehicle cause i was running backwards.... so many stupid accidents.... i had too much that i cant even count them....i dont know why am i thinking of it.... it just happened.....

what a way to start this fucking year.... i got aold and flu.... high blood pressure which is 159/68 bad head ache.... and no fire works??? damn this is the most miserable year in my fucking life.... damn this bitchy year.....so to make my sickness a lil' bit better.. i shoved up 6 smirnoff ice and a flu drink mixed in it.... a couple of vitamin C, felodipine, metoprolol, vitamin E, 4 xenadrine, centrum and occuvite.... nice.......and no more smoking.....

celebrating of xmas in pinas will always be the best the drinking sessions and those food trips at night..... especially the freshly cooked bibingka....but theres nothing you can do if you are out of the country....then focus on other things like shop alot....i got lots of great deals fron A/X for less than a 100 bucks i got myself a jacket, shirt and sone nice shirt....nice bargains...i've been buying jackets lately just because its cold already.... and plain old whities wont keep yoou warm....and lately i have been spending like helland i dont know why.... damn this sickness....anyway thats... merry xmas.....

dec 21 marks the start of winter season....
and on 21 my cousin will get married... damn i cant go...

At last… I got myself a desktop now….i don’t have to go back at my sister’s place just to check my mail and shit…damn its winter time…. Wohooo… lamig lamig na…..beer is the new water… just to make me feel warm in the morning….. the sad thing is that I just cant have smb everyday…. It’s more expensive than miller or bud in here… it saves me a couple of bucks a day though…. yeah yeah yeah… another nonsense entry in my blog…and f*ck xmas is coming… and our whole family will miss the reunion…. Last year it was only me as the sole rep of my fam… an now… no one will be there….hmm…. its not only me who miss it… I got cousins who left to……so it wont be as fun as before….same here… I’ll just spend it with my folk…. No drinking marathon and endless food trips and other trips...... oh holy crap....

i was watching the news... and i saw that those waste from japan will be disposed to the philippines and in exchange japan will accept more workers to enter their country... WTF!?!?!? those lame bastards agreed to that? its a total bullshit... it's like we will end up like a dump site... and there will be more brain drain.... no wonder why more people are leaving the country.... fuck the government!

ghost in my house?

since i left phil to live over here in cali.... some of my relatives are using my hosue to have their laundry done in my house... just to use the space for drying stuffs... and i dont know the other thing happening in there..... i just hope that those people whom they let them in... dont steal my stuffs... am still gonna have it sent over here... i need those damn shoes books and my shirts.....well.... talking about the ghost....

last year i started living in my house alone.. since my folks moved out here.... i've been able to see some things that shouldnt be there... especially at night after i got back from my class. which is around 11pm.... well... i never thought that those things are real.... i never paid any attention to those figures that i see... while im at the kitchen... figures from the living room.... and i got used to it.... but sometimes when we have some boozing thing happening at my place..... i'll just stop and look if somebody entered... or something....


well..... my aunt told my dad that the helper at their place who takes care or the ironing of their clothes...saw somebody walking down my staircase.... and then the other one that takes care of the laundry... thinks that she sees white thingy in the living room.... i dont know what to beleive...


i just cant believe that there are ghost in my house.. i lived in that house for 22 years... i have experienced... some mysterious things... but it never scared the hell out of me... but there are time... that i was a bit scared... just a bit... heheheheheh

and thats it... it doesnt make any sense at all...

it's been four months since i moved out here... and probably next month i'll be moving in an apartment... then no internet.... shit! i have to visit this place once in a while just to have internet access... got to adjust.... i've been doing lots and lots of adjustment since last year... i don't if i'll get used to it... i just have to look for some things that can help me forget about time passing by.... and i got a site where i can download some handouts and books for chemistry... just to keep myself busy... geeky? yeah... but i'd rather read those things than fiction books.... at least i'll gain some more knowledge... and it's my field....

listen to every concept that comes into you....

being atheist isn't against the law so as to believing in your god....
it's not how you praise him it's how you treat others....
skin color is nothing if you are open to all sorts of idealism....
i grew up in a catholic family....
studied in a catholic school from nursery until graduate school....
the only thing that i always question is the faith of the members....
i saw the hypocrisy of the believers....
it's not the idealism that i question but those people that implement it....

now at last i left the catholic country....
it's an opportunity to learn other culture....
live with new environment....
the thing is religion is the greatest form of brain wash of all....
